Summary 

Levee Districts are entities that are created in order to fund, construct and maintain Levee structures. These Districts can exist as Levee, Watershed, and/or Drainage Districts and are established via the County Court.

Description 

            

              

                

                  

                    Levee Districts represent a geographic area of responsibility in regards to the maintenance and construction of Levee structures built to mitigate flooding. The Districts have the authority to assess fees to residents in order to fund, construct and/or maintain the Levee structures.
